We’ve all had it happen. You’re studying or working, and you realize your brain has essentially shut down. It’s telling you, “you need a break.” So take a break then. The key is to know what type of break. If your brain is no longer taking in anything, sleep for a while. If you can’t sleep, take 30 minutes of break time. You choose: listening to music, snacking, Netflix……anything you find relaxing & peaceful. Breathe with awareness, deeply taking in a lot of oxygen. Then, after your break: study or work on laptop, or anything you need to get done, until ready to sleep. Always sleep as much as possible the night before an exam, interview…….anything stressful. Hope it helps.
